The Game Awards happened, and again, gamers are deeply disappointed due to Bloodborne Remastered not showing up. Even an insider had told the gamers bitter news, there were a group of gamers hoping the message was just said to keep the excitement for the Game Awards show. However, that did not happen either.
Bloodborne is a classic. In fact, it is more than a classic. Bloodborne is the best game from FromSoftware; it is the perfect mix of FromSoftware’s infamous difficulty and their technical wizardry of development. Released last generation, Bloodborne is heavily missed and desired to return. For some strange reason, Sony is quiet as gamers cry out to the heavens. What if Sony is actually planning something, but just not for this generation??
Every new console needs a banger or two at launch. Bloodborne is so highly loved that being available at launch as a remastered would get gamers overly excited to own a PS6. Also, with Bloodborne being a Sony exclusive (Sony and PC), it would definitely give extra spotlight to Sony at the time.
What would be even crazier is if Bloodborne 2 was announced at the same time Bloodborne Remastered was announced as a launch title. Dreams can become reality.
